In the southern half of the grasslands, travelers will see windmills begin to spring up here and there, arranged neatly in such a way that they can best take advantage of the steady breeze that sweeps across the field. At the center of the arrangement of tall structures is a wide, short building made of concrete and metal; this is the Decona Power Plant, and it is here that all the energy generated by the windmills is converted to electricity for the entire region. Because the plant is so important to Decona, the inside of the building is constantly bustling with workers striving to make sure that the plant is running at maximum efficiency. However, Pokemon are also very active around the power plant. Electric-types love it here and can often be seen both with their trainers, the power plant workers, and lurking around the windmills and generators outside the building. The whole area almost seems to thrum with energy due to the high accumulation of electric-types, which of course only draws more electric-types near, and in excess this could become highly dangerous and even compromise the safety of the power plant. As a result, workers are all too happy to see trainers coming by to battle and catch the wild Pokemon.
