Lillith Species: Sableye Gender: Female Ability: Keen Eye Level: 5 Friendship: 5 Moveset: Leer, Scratch, Foresight Nature: Lillith is very quiet. She is mostly an enigma, even to Atticus, but neither of them reall mind simply because they both wish to grow stronger, and interacting a lot isn't exactly on their agenda. Met: Lab @ lvl 5 Whether he wanted to admit it or not - which, by the way, he did not - he was lost. He had opted out of taking a guide along, and had instead come to these beautiful caves alone. Perhaps a different man wouldn't have minded, a different man would be honored to be surrounded by the shimmering crystals, a different man would relax until someone found him. Instead, Atticus had ventured deeper and deeper into the caverns, Lillith clinging to his shoulders like some sort of silent backpack. She had been of no help, of course. Had she really wanted to, she probably could have found the way back out, but the Sableye was enjoying the caves and didn't want to leave yet.
Atticus neither liked nor disliked his new Pokemon; he had never had a Sableye, and she didn't require much attention, but they hadn't had their first battle yet so he was still very unsure of her. She had simply clung to him since they had reached the island via ferry, and she was becoming quite heavy, even for him. The Sableye had little to say about Atticus; he was a human and he was funny, and the smell of anxiety was rolling off of him in waves. It was very funny, watching him attempt to keep his cool. He refused to admit that he had done the wrong thing, and Lillith liked studying the funny man.
Finally, with a disgruntled sigh, the man plopped down on the hard floor, and leaned against a large crystallized form. Lillith slid from his shoulders to avoid being crushed and began sniffing about the area, pausing to occasionally pick stones up and lick them or stare for minutes at a time at her weary trainer.

Somewhere deep within the crystal caves, lit only by luminescent rocks, something stirred ... that "something" being a Druddigon's stomach. Waking from a long night's sleep, she grunted and staggered out of her lair, sniffing at the air for something to eat. She couldn't smell anything that she could immediately identify as prey, but she did notice an unfamiliar scent in an adjoining cavern - perhaps some hapless Pokemon from the surface had gotten lost down here. As she closed in on Atticus and his Sableye, her footsteps made soft rumbles that warned them of her coming. Thus when she appeared before them, it was no real surprise ... but it probably was still quite frightening. Druddigon is hungry!Female | Level 5 Leer, Scratch, Hone Claws, Pursuit There she stood, maw open, teeth bared, peering down at the ... human. Ugh. Humans did not taste good at all. Neither did Sableye, for that matter. This was no good. She needed some suitable prey soon and had no idea where to find it... perhaps the human could help? It was worth a try... She stared at Atticus and hissed softly, one clawed hand rubbing her belly. She hoped he would get the idea.

Lillith was busy tasting another stone when the low rumbling first began. It wasn't necessarily an overbearing sound. Footsteps, if she had to pinpoint exactly what it was, footsteps of something much, much larger than she was. She dropped her stone and hurried over to Atticus. With his dull human senses, he probably hadn't even heard it yet. She stood between his outstretched legs, staring up at him, silent as ever.
"Lillith, I swear, you're the strangest thing I've ev..." The man trailed off as the sound finally became audible to his lesser hearing. He scrambled to his feet, glancing down at his Sableye and then pressing himself against the cold wall. Lillith, on the other hand, scurried out to the center of the cavern, staring into the darkness. When the Druddigon emerged, she continued to stare up at the other Pokemon, doing nothing. Atticus, on the other hand, cringed away. He doubted he could deal with a Pokemon of that size, regardless of her level. When he wasn't immediately destroyed, he glanced up at her. Dragon-types had always been appealing to him. He hoped capturing her was an option at all. It would be perfect to start out with such a powerful Pokemon on his team so soon.
When she scratched her belly, Lillith mimicked her, turning her icy gaze on Atticus. She ran a pink tongue over hard lips, walking slowly towards her trainer. It was as if she understood immediately. She pointed at her stomach, then placed her finger on her mouth, then repeated. Atticus stared at her in confusion, then back up at the Dragon-type.
"Ah, you're hungry. Well, thank you for not eating us, beauty." He seemed to almost purr in satisfaction. Perhaps he could win this lovely creature over after all. "We don't have anything to eat, but... Maybe I can help you find something. What sort of thing did you have in mind?" He glanced to Lillith for proper translation, who only scribbled around in the dirt with one claw and pretended not to hear him.

The dragon Pokemon regarded the young man and his Sableye with a curious rumble. Of course she had heard about Pokemon trainers, but most of what she'd heard had been bad. That Sableye, though ... it seemed happy. And it was even aiding the human in his attempts to understand her. How odd. "What sort of thing did you have in mind?" asked the man, to which the Druddigon gave a thoughtful pause. Normally she couldn't be very picky about her food - not many edible Pokemon around here, after all. But there were some ... mostly rodents and the like. And there was one, particularly rare, which she'd still not had the chance to sample. For a moment she wasn't sure of how to communicate her answer, until she glanced again at the Sableye and saw it scribbling in the dirt. She rumbled in understanding and followed suit, drawing a rough but recognizable shape: It seemed she was hungry for Pichu.

((I hate to interrupt but it just occurred to me that Paps needs to make a thread on the S.S. Angeli before she can roleplay here! Lunita Island can only be reached by cruise liner, so the first time a character comes to visit, a thread on the cruise ship is mandatory. This thread doesn't need to get scrapped, of course! But if it could get put on pause while an S.S. Angeli thread is completed, that would fix the problem. See rule 3 under "Traveling" in the rules thread. Sorry I didn't catch this sooner! :'C
Though for the record, if you guys have any feedback about this rule, please let me know! If it's too frustrating for everybody involved I can think about taking it out.))
