Naturally, every wall of the lab's lobby and every scientist within its walls advertises the (in)famous Pokemorph injection, the incredible and revolutionary Deconian invention created by the lab's own Professor Willow. So, what if you've decided the injection is for you? You want to be a Pokemorph. Great! Now, all you have to do is sign these waivers, go over certain side effects (intense pain for up to a week after the injection, small risk of incompatibility with one's system resulting in full organ failure and painful death, etc.), and then... all that's left is a check made out for $100,000.
Once this is done, you may choose the Pokemon you'd like to be spliced with (within reason), and you may schedule an appointment to get your injection once it is prepared!

If you want to make your character a Pokemorph, simply post in this thread with which character you would like to inject and what Pokemon species you would like the character to be spliced with. Certain Pokemon, such as legendaries, are off-limits. If you would like your character to be spliced with a shiny Pokemon, the cost is bumped up to $150,000. Note that, while you the player are free to pick whichever Pokemon you'd like within reason, your character likely had to pick from a limited list of Pokemon that were available at the lab at the time. You are encouraged to use this as part of your decision-making process, since your character getting spliced with something they themselves might not have considered could be very interesting! They are able to request a shiny Pokemon, but they would need to be located and acquired by the lab to create the proper injection, hence the additional cost. (There would be no OOC waiting period, but take note of this for IC purposes.)
Once a mod has confirmed your choice of Pokemon, they will tell you to deduct the appropriate price from your character's funds and you may then approach your character's IC injection and transformation however you would like! If you want to roleplay the injection, you are welcome to make a thread for it within the lab. If you would like to skip this bit and focus on the process of transforming into a Pokemorph, you are free to do so! However, we would recommend at least roleplaying out some of the transformation, as it is a rather traumatizing experience for some; the pain is immense as new bones and organs grow and develop, and even the skin may grow fur or scales or transform in some way. Existing bone structure may rearrange. The exact extent of the transformation does vary from person to person, but it is never pleasant. This could make for some very fun roleplay, in other words.
After confirming the transaction, please update your character's profile accordingly by noting what kind of Pokemorph they are and modifying their appearance section and perhaps their personality section.
